pub fn set_bubble_clickthrough(app: AppHandle, enabled: bool)Expand description
Toggle whether the webcam-bubble window passes mouse events through to whatever’s underneath (M-BUBBLE.1 v0 / AUT-274).
When enabled = true, the entire bubble window is mouse-event
transparent — clicks and hovers reach the window below. Useful
when recording the bubble overlaying slides / a browser, so the
user can interact with the underlying app without the bubble
catching the click. To disable (let the user drag the bubble
again), the AppShell’s “Click-through bubble” button is the
out-of-band trigger; the bubble itself can’t receive the click
while passthrough is on (chicken-and-egg).
Implementation is the macOS-blessed
NSWindow.setIgnoresMouseEvents: path exposed through Tauri 2’s
WebviewWindow::set_ignore_cursor_events. The same call works on
Windows (WS_EX_TRANSPARENT) and Linux (compositor-dependent).
Whole-window — clicks on the visible bubble circle ALSO pass
through when enabled. Per-pixel hit-testing (only the circle
intercepts, corners pass through) needs an NSView subclass via
objc2 and is deferred to a v1 follow-up under the same ticket.
